Blog Exhaustion

All i have to say is Whew!

I have typed six..make that seven posts today. spanning my three blogs.
I have had a lot of catching up to do because i wanted a good run at catching up before next week when we start a whole new chapter i our lives.

What’s that you might ask. Well Next Tuesday we officially start homeschooling Tornado. Yes he’s only three but as we have discovered over the past few weeks. He thrives on structured learning. I think his mind would benefit from being constructive..instead of destructive which has becoming a bigger problem.

He is so smart and knows how to do so many things. It’s time we start putting that creativity to better use..and fast. before my house becomes a bigger repair job than it already is…LOL. Ok maybe I’m exaggerating just a little but here is what i am planning to do schedule wise

2 Hours (nap time for the other 2)
first half hour->Reading a story
second half hour-> structured learning
third half hour-> recess–outside or an indoor physical game
fourth half hour-> coloring(sadly he does not even get the idea of coloring)….this will eventually turn into art. I have some other Arts and crafts projects set aside for him as well)

He needs some practice siting still we will gradually add a third hour by adding 5 minute increments in the spring semester..Listen to me talking in college talk. Anyway this will be an adventure for sure.

Tackle it tuesday.

So my tackles for today are not ones that can easily be taken pictures of….So here they are in form of a list
1. Get caught up on Blog stuff
2. Unpack
3. Finish dishes
4. repack for labor day weekend
5. Get lady bugs next size of clothes out of the attic.
(she is only 2 and going into 4T’s-she has a very long torso so we have problems with mid-drift all the time!)
I will post pictures later of somethings I have accomplished!

3 Year Old Olympic hopeful In Training

Tornado came running in to our room going

“Mommy mommy watch me go swimming!”

So i followed him to his room where he showed me this….

When I asked him at the end where he learned to do that he looked at me with those big blue eyes and said …

“The olymsicis”

He has loved watching the Olympics with us! I guess he loved it more than I realized. You can’t see it in the picture but the toddler bed is up on top of two mattresses and a box spring and he is jumping onto another mattress and box spring! Oh and he put the toddler bed up there!

Long Island here we come…AGAIN

notice the view of the beautiful bridge

Yes
that sky has been altered. Apparently i had a smudge on the lens that
affected the pictures..i was able to crop most of them but this one it
was right next to the bridge!

Part of the city at 4 am on Monday morning

I
only got two shots of the kids. We really didn’t have an opportunity to
take pictures. We were supposed to go to the beach with friends who are
CEF missionaries on the island but their youngest son got sick so we
couldn’t get together!
