MY FRIEND RUTH!
Ruth and I have known each other for about 10 years Now…Wow I can’t believe it has been that long. We found each other again about a year ago at her sister’s blog. We were acquaintances in college..We went to a Christian College in New York state We weren’t friends in college though when you go to a college of 250 YOU KNOW EVERYONE! We became instant friends in the blogosphere and now we are working on a project together thought it is taking a LONG while. She has two sons who are absolutely adorable and what an encouragement she is through her Blog (s) She has a sweet spirit and is so encouraging in her comments on my blog…I know she has been a real encouragement to me over the last year and I would love to send a little encouragement to her! THANKS RUTH!!!! She is such a neat and creative person….I think we could have been great friends throughout college too So Hop on over to Life’s Journeys and let her know I sent you!

Vacation installment #5 and 6–Are you Ready to be transported through Time

THE CREATION MUSEUM IN PETERSBURG KENTUCKY This is not two different days but we had to go back to the hotel in order for the kids to get a nap!…This doesn’t even begin to show the extent of the museum. Just a quick note though. The museum has info overload, so if you are planning a visit they will let you leave and come back….It is the neatest place and we enjoyed it. It is amazing and is so real life it can be scary at times! #5–AM Visit

Now I will say this.. some of those pictures you cannot tell but the are actually quite small Dioramas that look so incredibly life like..and life sized As for the tree if you look closely you can see the face of Christ and his body as it was hanging on the Cross…Powerful absolutely powerful! We loved it and as I said before there was just sooooo much to look at and take in and somethings pictures just wouldn’t do justice to! You have to experience it. All of the people were wax pigures but they looked so real it was scary!…Our kids came home with a new fascination too…DINOSAURS! And this concludes our vacation overview..I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures we had a chance to experience!

Garbage in Garbage out!

What has happened to Christian culture? Where we have been called to holiness…to be set a part from the world around us. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is that believers are choosing to watch and listen to the most awful things! My question is when you say you watching a particular TV program or listen to particular music what are you communicating to those around you….ARE YOU DIFFERENT? IS THERE SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR LIFE OR ARE YOU JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD!?! We become numb to the smut and garbage. The inappropriate behaviors in relationships are all over the place? By watching or listening you are saying this is Okay! You may argue but that is the message you are sending to those making the TV shows. We should be so appalled by the disgusting behaviors that we can’t watch despite the good story line! I am just as guilty But I am going to start turning off the TV, leaving the theater, shanging the station or whatever it takes to remove the stuff that makes me become numb to what God’s word says!…Revisit Proverbs. It talks about these things and the repercussions are severe!
