Some Things I have Learned About Me!!!!

During our recent move I have had some time to think…Okay so a lot of time to think aqs I unpack box after box after box after box….So here is what I have learned!!!

  • If I don’t get enough sleep I turn back into a toddler!No tantrums per se but a lot of fussiness!
  • being a pastor’s wife isn’t just about who you are married to or a bunch of things you do…IT”S WHO YOU ARE!It’s the way you look at life. You eat, sleep, drink and live it…you can’y escape it…Not that I want to!…People have your cell phone #’s and THEY KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!..LOL
  • Bright colors cheer me up especially green..and my kitchen is a very pretty green!
  • I enjoy serving people in my home& i really get restless if it has been a while sincewe have had people in our home
  • It was very hard to be a pastor’s wife& then to be in a churchwhere you are not the pastor’s wife
  • There is something so amazing about being where God wants you to be!
  • Blogging helps me..when I am sad, happy, frustrated and joyful…AND MY BLOGGING FRIENDS ARE A HUGE BLESSING TO ME>>AND I MISSED THEM VERY MUCH!
  • I hate cardboard
  • Never before i have I felt so attackedby Satan-there is a whole new senseNEEDING to be in God’s word…Sometimes Numerous times a day
  • I really enjoy sleeping on brand new sheets!
  • I have come to realize there is no such thing as a normal routine in a pastor’s home..LOL!
  • I ove my hot watre base board heat!
  • I am a lover of simple yet elegant things!
  • I disdain packing tape!
  • I really am a romantic at heart!
  • I have expresse3d my artistic side in decorating my home more than ever before!
  • I’m an introvert and I am okay with that!!!! I don’t need to force myself to be an extrovert just because I am a pastor’s wife…I need to love the people of our church and be sincere with them….Introverts aren’y all hermits…BUT hermits are all introverts!…I am NOT a hermit!

Thankful Thursday

Well all of my dear readers it has been almost three weeks since i last wrote to you and Oh what a three weeks it has been! I wish I could tell you that I enjoyed every minute of it BUT alas I cannot!

It has been a rough couple of weeks! The roughest day was yesterday I think But THERE ARE A LOT OF CLOSE SECONDS THAT YOU WILL HEAR ABOUT AT A LATER DATE!! But now onton yesterday..

  • I am thankful that Ladybug didn’t have to have her stomach pumped
  • I am thankful she has not had a bad after effects
  • I am so thankful she is feeling better today
  • and I am thankful that she does not have a fever today….

Okays o now you are going to need some explanations right!?!

Ladybug has been sick for a little under a week with a fever and a bad cough…we took her to the doctir testerday and found out that she has bronchitis ..no biggie..so later that day we went and filler RX and went home…When we got home I gavce her the first dose (it’s a five day med). After I gave her the dose I turned to put the syringe in the sink..It was VERY sticky…I turned not two seconds later to see ladybug putting the bottlre back on the counter going ..”THIRSTY THIRSTY THIRSTY”…I proceeded to freak out just as any good mother would..She drank the whole bottle!!!

It was an exhausting day to begin with so you can only imagine what that did to me! I called the doctor and the Poison Control Center!
Low and behold the worst effect that could happen will be a very BAD case of the squirts!

Needless to say though she is mostly potty-trained she will be wearing a diaper ALL day today…And yes I am very thankful for the squirts too!

I’m Back…

and expect to see a lot of me over the next few days as I have A LOT to say…Or write that is. This morning our internet got hooked up in our house so now I can BLOG YAY!!!!!! And can I just say that i am SUPER excited. I was really disappointed …I was so sure that I had missed the ultimate blog party in my two week hiatus! Not much of a vacation BUT the majority of the packing is all done…Okay so the only room left yo unpack is my craft room go figure!!! Anyway off to do some more catch up om you bogs…I miss you guys and I am making the rounds!

Internet shuts off today…

Okay so i don’t know just how long it will be until we get internet hookup in the parsonage BUT it will happen eventually so this is the last time you will hear from me in a while…I love you guys and please pray for our transition time! I will be be back…THAT IS NOT A THREAT BUT A PROMISE!! MOVING DAY IS SATURDAY!
