The last few months out lives have been NUTS to say the least BUT
with all of the craziness there have been many joys…. Some of which
are watching my fiends have children and since I have three of my own
it has been funny to watch some of these friends become first time
parents!!!! But as I began compiling a list of my friends who have had
or are having babies over the last 6 months I began to see a crazy
sight!!! Here’s my list with Number of children each Family has

  3. Tim and Steph-2
  4. Chad and Noelle-2

Then Sings My Soul Saturday 9-26-09

Okay so This has been a favorite for a while now….for a couple of reasons

  1. It is a REALLY catchy fun song…You may just get it stuck in your head!!!
  2. It is just chock full of great Theology!!
  3. AND
MY NEWEST REASON…it’s set to the cup game I learned while working in
a college kitchen..even ion the CD we own that is what is making the
noise BECAUSE there is no “music” per se!!1

Check it out and get addicted

SCREEN DOOR ON A SUBMARINE It’s about as useless as A screen door on a submarine Faith without works baby It just ain’t happenin’ One is your left hand One is your right It’ll take two strong arms To hold on tight Some folks cut off their nose Just to spite their face I think you need some works to show For your alleged faith Well there’s a difference you know B’tween having faith and playing make believe One will make you grow The other one just make you sleep Talk about it But I really think you oughtta Take a leap off of the ship Before you claim to walk on water Faith without works is like a song you can’t sing It’s about as useless as a screen door on a submarine Faith comes from God And every word that He breathes He lets you take it to your heart So you can give it hands and feet It’s gotta be active if it’s gonna be alive You gotta put it into practice Otherwise…. It’s about as useless as a screen door On a submarine Faith without works, baby It just ain’t happenin’ One is your right hand, one is your left It’s your light, your guide Your life and your breath Faith without works is like a song you can’t sing It’s about as useless as a screen

Here Ya Go Mom…

Well Saturday was a pretty neat day for me….Our local Christian camp hosted a ladies day that was SOOO much fun.

We
made candy and candles and body lotions and body scrubs…At least that
was the first part of the Day!! The second part of the day we got to
get facials, hair cuts adn hair styled hand , foot and back massages,
and our makeup done! They also provided free

child care to which TORNADO HAD A BLAST!

I can home just smiling away i had so much fun…THANKS HONEY FOR THE SURPRISE!
I also came home with a new hair cut and a few new Ideas on how to deal with the amazing amount of hair I have!!!
Well
First I had it layered. I had it like this in college a lot BUT i
always made it curly. The lady who styled my hair used a flat iron
on my hair which really made the layers stand out AND then she put anti
Frizz stuff on my hair. I never thought my hair was frizzy but what a
neat transformation! Now I must admit I had to brush my hair before our
Open house that evening so it is more poofy than earlier in the day!

Tornado
said the cutest thing to me at the camp as I helped him up to the water
fountain…he looked up at me with those blue eyes of his and said
(without any prompting) “Mommy your hair looks so beautiful”
Talk about melting a mommies heart! What a sweet boy you are!
