No Joke..one of the most amazing amazing things you have ever heard of has happened at my Happy Home..and no I am not talking about my blog I am talking about Ladybug who is a whopping 20 months old has decided to potty train herself…NO i am NOT kidding! You see we have been cleaning out our attic in Lieu of our impending move and a mouse problem! So we brought down the potty we bought for TORNADO (he is still not fully Potty trained but he is getting there) We decided to set it in the bathroom and see if she took to it..and boy did she…She’ll go right in use it and then clap for herself when she is done! AMAZING..We don’t have to reward her or anything she even praises herself..She is so funny. We weren’t sure when it all started if Tornado was using it. Pee mysteriously showed up in the potty twice…we have a sneaky pee-er..how funny..We still praise her but it was really hard at first because we didn’t know if it was her!
A Plethora of Topics
Ok so here it is..I have not blogged in two weeks. It has been a long two weeks ! Here’s what has been happening in our neck of the woods! First off Hubby’s brother and sister in law moved to Florida 2 weeks ago.. HT and Sugar are very much missed in our home as they were regular fixtures for lots of things! they are very missed….then there is life with toddlers and especially one who is being potty trained! Then there is Easter…we went away to my parents house and hubby got sick. We think with the flu. I am kind of sick…Where you feel yucky but you never quite get the full blown illness…I have had my flu shot and so has Tornado and Ladybug…..but Vug…he is another story and he has quite the cough..Please pray for him.. And that leads us to today! In other areas here are a few things that I have been meaning to write about! About a month ago we had a family trip to visit Aunt P…she later sent me some gifts..They were great and still are..They are some of my favorite socks..Now who can guess why? 
Then there is the UB Party! I had a blast but I definitely didn’t do as much party hopping as i hoped. Life gets crazy! But in the parties that i did visit i did manage to win 2 yes 2 prizes. I won this bow from Linda at Ribbon Rockstar
And then I also won a $25 gift certificate from Trilei Jewelry courtesy of Angie From the Downtown Boutique In which I hope to be able to get this gorgeous necklace! 
How great is all of this but yet there is one more wonderful thing that arrived via UPS at my front door yesterday. My sweet hubby got me this cute set of PJ’s from PajamaGram.com
Minus the girl of course! This extra special Pampering comes as a birthday present. My birthday is next Monday! Thanks honey…I love you too! So all in all I guess you could say it’s been one big Happy Birthday Month for me…And my birthday is the very last day of the month!
It’s Party Time!

This is Tornado…There is only one way a toddler gets that kind of Nickname. He is 2 1/2 and he keeps me VERY VERY busy! (that is my pregnant belling in the background) 
This is ladybug. She is 1 1/2. She has such a sweet smile and she knows she is cute. She however isn’t spoiled. But those big blue eyes are captivating. 
This is Vug. (tornado gave him the nickname from a Dr. Suess Book.) he is a little over three months old and is a very laid back little man. So laid back he never let me know he wasn’t getting enough to eat. He truly is a miracle baby in so many ways. 
This is my hubby. He is clearing all the snow away so the guests won’t get stuck when they pull in for the party..that is not our house in the picture..our house is to the right just out of the picture.
This is our dog Montana. He will stay outside or in his kennel for the party…He just likes people way too much…Sorry Boy! This last year so many wonderful things have happened to our family to celebrate..So let’s recap…. 
This is Hubby and I at hubby’s graduation from seminary. What a proud wife I was! 
Then in November hubby got ordained a a Baptist Pastor. Again I was a very proud wife. he did a fantastic job!
And then one week later i gave birth to our third child..our second son…and again I was a proud wife and mommy. Yes we are busy and yes we love it. I can’t imagine a slow life even though sometimes I think that’s all I want. I enjoy entertaining and having people in my home. I love to scrapbook and read and write and cook and so much more to sit down..pour yourself some tea or hot chocolate and nibble on some freshly made sugar cookies and enjoy learning about my family! A sad day in My Life!
Well today was a sad day. After one year of living 15 minutes away from Hubby’s brother and sister in law we said good-bye. HT and Sugar are moving to Florida and they leave tomorrow. they have been such sweet friends. We have hung out a lot and they have been such an encouragement to Hubby and I! We will miss them emensly! They watched their nephews and niece for the last time while hubby and I had a chance to go out for lunch together. HT and Sugar please know that you are loved and that you will be missed. It was such fun for me to have you guys over..for laundry days and 24 marathons and as Tornado puts it Pete Tom Rav rav eat Petsa…watch ball! We love you guys!
Sadly Mistaken
Frustrated with Life at the time, I made a very bad and horrible mistake….the worst thing you could ever do. hurt your friends….you say but wouldn’t that be your family first..well sometimes but they still love you…you friends can just seem to melt away and you don’t realize they are gone until too late to do anything. that has happened a lot over the last few year but I have been on the receiving end. NEVER EVER did I intend to be the one causing the pain. And in a moment of frustration I posted something that I never intended on posting and the family read it. And to them I am so deeply sorry. I have read a book by Elizabeth George called Loving God with all Your Mind. It truly is a wonderful book. And so many times we get so me centered and so used to being hurt in a certain way that when something else happens you automatically assume that it was personal when it really was nothing at all. So how do you get to the point where that doesn’t happen. Well I will Tell you how Mrs. George handled it when she was struggling through life’s bumps. She said to ask yourself one simple question…is this true? What she is referring to is scripture based in Philippians 4:8 Where Paul instructs the Philippian people to think on whatever is true…you get the picture. Guess what trap I had fallen into? I really think that God is working on me to iron out even more flaws. It seems as though one goes through these refining times in their life where God brings a lot of unrealized thought and struggles into view. If you handle them well the result will turn out beautiful in God’s eyes but if handled poorly and with a “stiff Neck” (meaning resistance against God) the result is a bitter person . I really don’t want to be a bitter person. I know too many bitter people and I see the kind of unsatisfied life they lead. So now is my refining time. My deepest prayer is that i stay willing to learn..from my mistakes and from others mistakes and from others in general! Thank you JB and KF for your forgiveness. It means so much to me to have friends who truly care to see a Christian grow despite the mistakes they have made!
