And that is exactly what I am thankful for today… My God who understands when i need a true break. We still have had some things to do this week Somethings caused some stress BUT through all of that this has clearly been the EASIEST week we have experienced since we have been here and Thank you LORD for giving it to me THIS WEEK!

Fear 101

And Abraham said, because I thought,Surely the FEAR of God is not in this place;and they will slay me for my wife’s sake. Genesis 20:11

At first glance we physically see FEAR once but the underlying motive of Abraham is Fear.  Plain and simple he didn’t want to die! He FEARED the people’s reaction to him…

Just one little thought though.

Did Abraham not FEAR GoD enough either? He clearly didn’t have a qualms about adultery or lying!

Wordless Wednesday-Dairy DayParade Float

After literally weeks of hard work it all came together quite
nicely..What you don’t know is that mountain cam crashing en route to
the parade. You can’t see it but my blue jeans are COVERED in white
paint after morning touch ups! You also can’t see three little cubbies
ice fishing in a pond…and a real kind of working fore place. You
couldn’t have asked for a nicer day either!

Hearts At Home

Have you ever felt alone as a mom? Lost in your chosen field of
mothering? There is an organization that was created to encourage,
educate and equip women in the profession of motherhood. Hearts at Home helps
thousands of moms love their lives through their many resources
including conferences, website, and books. Recently I partnered up with
this organization as a blogger. Over time I hope to share with you the
many resources this ministry has to offer (old ones and new). To learn
more about the Hearts at Home Blogging team go here. In the meantime I would like to encourage you to explore their website and blog for an immediate dose of mothering encouragement.

Fear 101

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram
in a vision, saying, ‘FEAR not Abram; I am thy shield, and they
exceeding great reward.

Well I must tell you that it
is interesting the things that I have realized already….Abram was
having a discussion with God and God starts off this discussion with
“Fear Not” As a kid I was taught to fear God and yet…that was not
WHOLLY correct I was taught to have fear and trembling so to
speak….be on pins and needles. Not so. Not so at all. As long as
you are obeying God’s word (and I mean ALL of it) than you have NOTHING
to fear. Maybe I am getting ahead of where I actually am. As long as
you are where God wants you…you will be protected and rewarded. Not
to say that everything is all hunky dory all the time. Don’t forget we
live in a fallen world and when you are surrounded by a world full of
sinners sometimes we have to reap their consequences too. Unfait you
might say well I find it much better than spending Eternity in hell
…How about you!?!
