Wow It has a been a while since I have done this…and it used to be at a
different Blog But life is different now! In case you didn’t get the
memo we moved and started at a church as it’s Senior Pastor Three months
ago today! And what a Joy it has been. One of the blessings I have
had is being a aprt of a Ladies Sunday School class where we have been
Working through Beth Moore’s Believing God Series!. It has been a true
challenge! This mornign I was working on Day one Of session three. It
is all focused On Believing God can do what He says He will do. Her
main point is that God from the very beginning has done Miracles!
Miracles is what God does to show his glory! Among other things.
However if you think about even the simplest of things like answered
prayer IS a miracle. That’s what God does. I hav sat under the
preaching of a pastor who had the audacity to say that God NO LONGER
perdormed miracles today. I TOTALLy disagree. Why? Because I have
experienced a REAL LIFE Miracle! When i was in college..My freshamn
year to be exact I was at our regional tournament for Basket
ball…(ahem I was a cheerleader) We were leaving what was now
Philadelphia Biblical University when all of a sudden in Allentown PA we
all decided we wanted Ice cream. It was about 11 AM and we stopped off
for some food! Well within minutes something happened. Our school 15
passenger van burst into flames. Miraculously No one was in it.
Another five miles down the road and it could been a HUGE catastrophy.
As people started tryign to convince us that our van was REALLy on fire
we ran to see all of our stuff ablaze…..BUT ALL of our stuff wwas
sitting inte parking lot….None of it touched by flames and not even a
hint slelled of smoke! We began to ask who saved LAL of our stuff ? No
one knew No one saw anything….Even a paper award that sat on the dash
board of one of the players sat unscathed on top of all the bags and
pillows. As we watched the firemen trying to get the flames under
control Stunned by all that had happened we each knew that something
special had happened! Now what you may try to explain away you can’t.
You weren’t there. You didn’t experience it. I am not one of those
emotional people who overspiritualixe Every little thing. I know beyond
the shadow of a doubt that I along with teammates experienced
something that not many poeple do. A HUGE miracle. Not just one BUT
two. If you are one of those people who Believes miracles are not
performed by God today i challenge you to talk to a missionary . Ask
them if they have see a miracle. Something so amazing it takes your
breath away. I have heard many stories! I know Miracles still happen
today…Just imagine what would happen if you really start to BELIEVE
that God can do what He says He will do!
Can you hear what I hear???
Pure Unadulterated SILENCE!
In the house there is No one But ME!
Hubby and the kids have all left me!
Not for good mind you just for all of today and tonight..Meaning overnight
I miss them already go figure!
But that being said I have a TON TO-DO
so here is my list and I will cross it out through out the day
Fold all the clean laundry that has amassed in our bedroom- Put the cloths all away
make Veggie and cheese trays for tonight- Do Devotions
- Sweep and Mop ALL floors that can be
- Vacuum all floors that can be
- Finish up last couple loads of Laundry
Make dinner for My mother in law and my self as she will get here around four or soenjoy the ladies conference tongiht and tomorrow The whole reason the kids and hubby left me)Write my say it forward postMake gifts for tonightChange of Plans I taught them how to make their own

ook for games to play tonight Get some sleep!

She actually goes By Diana And a sweet girl she is. We went to college
together and were friends in College. We found each other again on
xanga BUT she had moved her blog to Vlogger. We reunited and here we
are friends again or still. We have not commented as much on each
other because to tell the truth we are both very Busy people. As is

Thankful Thursday
Wow it has been quite some time since I have done this with the move and
all But I am back and I am ready to go. I used to do this on my other
Blog but since we have moved to our first church things have been a
little crazy…Okay so a lot crazy!!!! So I have combined the two and
and here we are! So what am I Thankful for this dreary Thursday Morning
Well This may sound really REALLY weird BUT I am so very THANKFUL My
hubby and I are not Jon and Kate. You know from the big Hit Jon and
Kate plus eight. I do not watch the show…Nor would I BUT that being
saidI think that no one should….I think that they both have checked
out of their marriage and they are hurting their children by doing so.
Those poor children every time they walk into a supermarket there is
mommy and daddy plastered every where. It’s funny i am not evern sure
who is cheating on who at this point cuz everyone has a different story.
Which might I add is sick. I am So thankful that my husband would say
no to something like this for this very reason. The Love of money is
the root of all evil (a very common misquoted verse) But in this aspect
It fits perfectly. Why or how you may ask. Well here’s the deal Kate
Made with TLC (the TV channel who produces Jon and Kate) She refused to
get Marital counseling unless they sign the show for another two
seasons…..HMMM Sounds like she cares more about the fame and fortune
than her family and marriage… I am thankful that my husband would
fight for me not run away to someone else and I am SOOOO thankful that I
don;t have to make decisions like this. God hasn’t put us there and I
am so thankful that my kids do not have to grow up in front of the TV
camera! So when those seasons are all done and she walks away with her
money what will she have for it…COLD HARD CASH eight kids to raise
alone and a bunch of rumors and hurt and Pain..I’ll garuntee that if she
is cheating on Jon that once her 15 minutes has left her so will the
lover who is seeking his 15 minutes of fame. THANK YOU Lord for
protecting our family forom a world who seeks to gain instead of care
for and love those you have given to us!
