Life can be a challenge sometimes…

the last few weeks have been a huge challenge to say the least.  I have had numerous friends go through some terrible experiences, I have prayer, cried Prayed and cried some more.  The scary thing is I still have some great people in my life going through some horrendous things.

Over the last two weeks I have seen a friend who lost her husband who waged an incredible battle with non-hogkins lymphoma.

Last week the young woman who sang at our wedding lost her first and only child.  She knew all along that she was going to loose her  baby as soon as she was born and yet she was courageous and looked at each day with her baby was an incredible blessing.

Tonight my flower girl lays in the hospital tonight.  She has sickle cell anemia.  See has lost sight in her one eye and they are working o save her vision.

Also tonight we have a lady from our church who is also laying in the hospital PRAYING her baby can stay in her tummy until Friday.  When the baby will be 32 weeks.  She is battling pre-eclampsia.   And her blood pressure keeps skyrocketing.

Never before have i felt so bombarded…I have spent so much time praying for all of these people.   It hurts so much and yet.  My faith has not sunk nor wavered..  Amazingly it has soared.   I have watched these two incredible women walk away from their personal battles in losing people they care about SOOO deeply and they have relied on God to carry them through!  It by no means that they have not struggled in their own ways but their stregth is not their own and it is quite evident.

Even though I live LONG distance from these people I still have learned so very much from them and their grief along with giving God the glory though everything they have faced is an encouragement  to me.  And their stories can be an encouragement to you as well.  Will you let them?

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

! Samuel…Hannah is I think one of the most important women in the Bible who threw her faith the Nation of Israel is set for putting a King on the throne.  She makes a promise to God and follows through with it even though the man who will be over her som has done an absolute terrible job raising his own two sons…Yet she still trusts God!
