Homemaking Tips:::copied from previous blogger…i love this idea!
So you have all these great kitchen appliances, but not enough counter space. You stash the stuff in the pantry or in kitchen cabinets and then forget about them, right? Been there, done that.
What I do, is that every two weeks, I rotate my appliances out. I pull out the rotisserie and the crockpots, for example, and make my menu plans according to them. The next two weeks, I put those away and pull out something else that hasn’t been used in a while. This way, everything gets used and I don’t forget that things exist 🙂

Looking around the house:::
Well there is some general cleaning to be done and my craft room needs some major attention but for the most part pretty good!

From the camera:::

Bible verse, Devotional:::
Doing everything to the glory of God is NOT about checking things off a checklist!

A Time to Modify

I have been using the Side-tracked Home Executives card file for cleaning and home organization. I like this method a lot..mostly because i am a side-tracked home executives with ADOS.l.lotherwise as Attention Deficiet…ohhh shiny!

As my kids have gotten older…they were babies when i started, they wanted to be like mommy and so i would catch them with the entire crd file box in the middle of the floor, stacking them in order of color, which kind of defeats the purpose!

So after about 10 times of reorganizing it and our move this past March i had some modifications in mind! So this is what i started with:

So i went to the store and boght 7 of the multi colored bound index cards and this is what i ended up with:

Then to finish it up i covered just the writing with a strip or two of packing tape and I use Bic Mark It pens to mark off what i have accomplished!

Message from the Admin

This is a quick note to let all the walking-by-faith.net readers know that a few things have changed in relation to Facebook integration. Facebook has released an official plugin to WordPress and I have migrated this site to that plugin.

What you should notice is that you no longer need to worry about signing onto this website for comments it will all be done through Facebook. This also means is that for the time being all old comments have disappeared. They are not lost, but until Facebook updates their plugin they will stay hidden. The appearance of a few things have changed but on a whole nothing much is different. Please continue to enjoy the site as you normally would. If you run into any issues comment here or let Mary know.

Thoughts From the Heart.

I have mentioned a few times that I have been working on the Good Morning Girls Bible Study. It is my first time participating in an online Bible study and I have loved it for the most part and I look forward to the next one. It is hard to believe there is only two weeks left! It has flown by so very quickly…too quickly.

I have shared only a few things but this week, I thought I might share something that hit me. We will start at the beginning of the week with Monday’s verse:

Proverbs 31:30 – Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (ESV)

The very first thing is the little phrase, “is to be praised”. Notice it’s not “will be praised”. King Lemuels mother is telling her son to praise God fearing women…particularly his wife, after that what she is teaching him to look for is a God fearing woman.

Then as the week progresses we hit the passage that challenged my heart…actually the very next day: Tuesday!
