FOR TODAY (January 12, 2009)…

Outside My Window…Dark and cold…This week is supposed to be absolutely frigid I am thinking…I am glad my headache is finally gone I am thankful for…a great day with some church h friends yesterday who came for dinner From the learning rooms…Same and different! Tornado is having a really rough time with this concept! Also shapes and finishing up a colors unit this week. He has been begging me to teach him his letters more in depth so we have been practicing some beginner writing things From the kitchen.. I am not sure yet.. it’s too early to tell I am wearing.PJ’s a flannel nightgown with pants under and a sweatshirt over the top…I get cold when I have a migraine! I am creating..Diaper sacks for on our vacation in 2 weeks! I am going…no where til Wednesday I am reading..Prayer by Philip Yancey, Defuse by Karol Ladd and Genesis, psalms Provebs and Matthew! I am hoping..for God’s will in this new church and for it to be a YES! All wrapped into one! ASnd safe travels for our vacation in2 Weeks YAY! I am hearing..the hum of the computer and Tornado playing car behind me Around the house.Tidying..and a few other minor things One of my favorite things.Time with friends A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Prep for next weekend..i have to speak to the women Saturday morning and I have to pick some things to see on vacation Sorry no picture this week.. I ma too pooped to fuss with it..Have a great week and see you next Monday

Pondering the Lost

Today as hubby and I were out doing our weekly shopping I sat in the front seat watching signs pass by….One sign grabbed my attention and made me smile!…All I saw was one word on it as we drove past in city traffic..that word was–JESUS! My immediate reaction was a smile. I am always happy to see people so brave in proclaiming their faith. But as I thought I began to wonder how many people drive past that on a daily basis and get annoyed angered and just plain offended. What is it that causes people who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior to get so put off by one simple Name–JESUS! I guess maybe if I had been saved in my twenties I would perhaps understand better but i was young when I was saved….let’s be precise I was 4. I was raised in a Christian home and my parents were not angered by the name either. So I guess when it comes right down to it I have no idea why someone driving down the street would get angry at this Jesus sign. Anger enough to file a law suit to make the people who own their own land to take it down…. That is not the case with this particular sign but pay attention to the news. It’s everywhere….What “signs” are people trying to get rid of where you live and work?

Easily one of my most favorite songs! Why you may ask well I think it’s a great reminder for we Christians to remember that Christianity is contagious especially when we are having a blast living it out Loud!
