A startling noise,
If you are looking for the Wordles Wednesday post scroll down to the next post! have you ever been so sound asleep and been startled awake but such a loud noise from either in your house or outside of your house that you are not sure what exactly you just heard! That is exactly what happened to hubby and i last night. It was so loud and clear that both of us sat strait up when it happened and it sounded exactly like a train crash. We have a train only about 1/4 of a mile away and it’s a freight train. Now I have never heard what a train crash sounds like but it is exactly what i think one would sound like. Thankfully it was not a train wreck, it was however thunder. It even had a trailing sound that sounded like train car hitting the next. that being said we hear lots of loud noises from the train on a regular basis. Some of the train cars get filled with gravel at a near by quarry and that makes quite a boom sounding similar to thunder! Now needless to say my husband fell right back to sleep i however could not because of being in the house when It was hit by lightning about 2 1/2 months ago! No plot, No point!
Hubby and I were driving to our doctor’s office yesterday and we were talking about a certain movie that just came out. We saw the first of the three and liked it despite the spiritism that is clearly evident throughout all of the movie, but that another post! Anyway the second movie in the series came out and we were going to see it in the theater, however we heard a review and decided it wasn’t worth out money, because there really was no plot and that the ending was basically non existent. So we again waited to see it on video. I feel asleep and hubby tried to watch it. the attempt was short lived so we said that we would wait to see the third movie in hopes that it would be worth our time and money. Apparently we were wrong again.The reviews have not been raving and pretty much all of our friends are disappointed.
Now with the second we had friends that saw the movie five times in the theater. I guess I don’t understand how people could pay so much money on something that is so pointless. If it doesn’t have a plot isn’t it pointless. That is the question that hubby and I are struggling with for our own family. Any insights.?
Did you ever feel…….
like a really bad mom because you fed your kids lunch and put them down for their afternoon nap by 10:40. Well I have decided how bad I feel about that right now because I just did it. I need a nap and some quiet. It’s was a really hard morning with the washing machine, the dryer and numerous other kitchen gadgets running so I could get life in order. I also had the radio on for Tornado who loves any and all kind of music. Lady bug wouldn’t drink her formula so she screamed. I took her up to her room for a while so she could decide if she wanted to eat or not. She back back down about 45 minutes later and drank it all but a little bit and then had 2 helpings of baby cereal. Tornado has done nothing but whine for the last three days. He had an accident that has just made him whiny. So as you can see I was and still am pretty stressed not to mention my upper back and neck are completely out of whack and I have had a low dull headache today. And all I have to say is GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Is anyone elses day been like this!
Guess what today is? May 4th!
Yep you guessed it today is May 4th and May the fourth be with you! In other words it’s Star Wars day! Now I really like Star Wars. I have seen all six episodes in a week. And yes I really did enjoy them. It’s funny people (my brother-in-law especially ) Will say “oh she won’t like that” and then my husband gets me to sit down and watch it. They (my husband and his brother) wouldn’t give me the chance to like Lord of the Rings either but I really like that too). I am not the typical girl. I saw all of the Star Trek movies too and they thought I would like the “whale one” because that is “what all the other girls like) Well to be completely honest I thought that was one of the dumber ones! So in the words of the Morning guys-John and Denny-may the fourth be with you!
